Gülnur’s childhood was shaped by her family’s deep connection to art and craftsmanship. Her father’s antique sewing machine collection and her mother’s delicate lacework were the first artistic influences in her life. A graduate of Russian Philology, Gülnur briefly worked in her field before embarking on a professional journey in jewelry design, which started as a hobby. As she experienced the joy of creating and designing, her passion grew stronger. The name “Gügü,” a term her loved ones used to affectionately address her, became the inspiration for her brand.
With the highest level of craftsmanship, Gügü Design transforms bronze designs with 22-karat gold or silver plating, giving them either a mirror-like shine or an enchanting glow with precious stones. Some R&D processes take years because every piece embodies Gügü’s vision of the “modern free woman.”
